Welcome to Dance Moms Answers. What would you like to know?

Update, May 30th, 2015

It seems to be out now... but it's listed on Amazon at $58.69 for the first Season 3 collection (and another $58.69 for the second Season 3 collection.) Somebody in reviews says there are repeat episodes from Season 2, but IDK if anyone truly bought a set there.

Elsewhere in the world:

http://www.beyondhe.com.au/dance-moms-season-3-collection-1.html The Australian version (Region 4, unlikely to play in North American DVD players) of "Dance Moms: Season 3 Collection 1" 3 DVD set is sold at $19.95, and Australian dollars are worth less.

The information listed for U.S. purchases seems crazy...

(Info written January 6, 2015)

Amazon (for US) sells pre-orders for Region 1 (US and Canada), but says it hasn't been released yet. They don't say when it will be released, and there are no reviews. A note on the pages selling volume 1 and volume 2 states: "This product is manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media. Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply."

My guess is that there is permission to produce and sell from Lifetime already for the U.S., but there's a holdup in the manufacturing for some reason... largely because of the details in the following paragraph:

Australia seems to be selling Region 4 DVD's already, although I can't find reviews.Amazon U.K. is selling them for Region 0, and there are pleased reviews from customers... but it's being sold in PAL, not NTSC.

I would advise against purchasing either PAL or Region 4 DVD's, unless you thoroughly understand all the technical problems (which I don't) and know they're not a problem for you; or unless you won't mind if you end up with DVD's you can't play; or unless you are willing to go through a whole lot more money and trouble.
